BCS Recruitment Process
BCS exam is the most competitive examination in Bangladesh Public Service Commission.
Eligibility
Eligibility norms for the examination are as follows
Nationality: All candidates must be Bangladeshi citizens.
Age: maximum age 21 to 30 years (for General candidates) Highest age limit of freedom fighters and their son's daughters, disable candidate and BCS (Health) cadre candidates is 32(Thirty-two)
Academic: At least 4-year bachelor’s degree after Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Exam. if any candidate's third class in any academic phase is considered as disqualification of a candidate.
BCS Recruitment Process
Part 1: Preliminary
Preliminary examination held in May/June every year. This Notification is published about one month before the exam. Preliminary Results published about one month after the exam.
Part 2: Written
The written examination is the main test, usually held in October/November/December every year. Notification is published about one month before the exam. Results are published 6 to 10 months after the exam.
Part 3: Viva Voce
Viva Voce (Interview) It is an oral test and is held after the publication of the written result.
The final result is published about 1.5 to 2 months after finishing the viva exam

Application End: 31 March 2021
